Happy return from spring break!....
I have added some bubbles to the group concept map, feel free to add/change things in the next few days. Also this week is the second lesson plan, which needs to include collecting, inputting, and graphing data in Excel. What do you want the focus of your lesson plan to be?
Some lesson plan data-collection topics I though of were:
ReplyDeleteBird species spotted in the child's backyard (observation)
Price of supplies at local stores, compared with UK (students would physically go and price items)
Number of existing bird houses in the community (students would observe/ask neighbors)
Amount of time spent building the birdhouse
Any other ideas? Also we all have to do a different one, so list your choice!
I'm choosing to write a lesson plan/have students collect data on the number of existing bird species spotted in the child's yard or park area.
ReplyDeleteI think ill do mine on the price of stuff. but i have a question, if we are having the students price stuff do i need to plan the trip to the store to price stuff? Also this bird house is done in the classroom right?
